October 2010 Archives

It's the first New Mediacracy from the set of an active production, the 24-hour live-streaming reality show called ControlTV. We're literally in a tent talking about what it takes to handle directing and editing an experimental live format where the audience decides what happens. This episode we have guests Eric Mortensen from blip.tv in New York and Big Fantastic's Ryan Wise, along with NM regulars Chris McCaleb, Zadi Diaz, and Steve Woolf drinking from a cube of wine.

Also, there's a pretty sweet Chris McCaleb impression of Miss Piggy, Kermit, and Yoda, Eric Mortensen discusses his view of the LA web series world (he lives in NYC), and Ryan Wise is recovering from (another) motorcycle accident. It's a New Mediacracy that's under 2 hours long!

Let us know what web series you're watching and enjoying (or not) in the comments!
